KIA Arts Fair returns to Bronson Park June 5-6, celebrates 75th annual event

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is preparing for the 75th annual KIA Arts Fair, which will take place at Bronson Park in downtown Kalamazoo.

The two day event begins Friday, June 5 from 3pm to 8pm. Attendees can also participate Saturday, June 6 from 9am to 5pm.

Advancement Liasson Nancy Waldoch, who’s in charge of organizing the event, stopped by the News Channel 3 studio to give a preview of what people can expect.

“We’ve added some seating to the east grassy area of the park for some relaxation space for our guests,” Waldoch said. “There are activities for kids and families throughout the event as well and don’t forget to check out the KIA itself. the admission to all galleries is free on Friday and Saturday during the event.”…
