MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Skies will be partly cloudy Monday morning, with temperatures starting in the low 70s along the beaches and the mid to upper 60s inland. We’ll be dealing with on-and-off light showers during the morning hours, but any rain we see throughout the day will remain scattered. This is not expected to be a washout.
We’re waiting on a cold front that will move through this evening, bringing more stormy weather during the evening commute and through the overnight hours. High temperatures on Monday will reach the upper 70s to around 80 degrees along the coast, with mid to upper 80s inland. With rain in the forecast, humidity levels will remain elevated, but they will take a noticeable tumble through the middle of the week.
Scattered showers will continue through Tuesday before skies clear nicely Tuesday night into Wednesday. A significant drop in humidity will make the air feel much lighter and more refreshing. Temperatures will also run slightly below average through midweek, with Wednesday morning lows in the mid to upper 50s and afternoon highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees…
