Semi-truck strikes railroad bridge in Glenville

GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The railroad bridge in the town of Glenville was struck by a semitruck on Monday. It happened around 12:40 p.m.

Police said a 2017 Freightliner was traveling westbound when it struck the Glenridge Road bridge. The box portion of the truck was significantly damaged.

The driver, identified as 56-year-old Man Chan, of Plano, Texas, was on his way to North Carolina after making a delivery in Argyle. He was issued multiple tickets for failing to obey a traffic control device and town code for over height vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
