People displaced by Motel 6 fire in Greensboro speak out: ‘Wanted to be reimbursed’

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) —  On Monday, one day after a fire damaged part of a Greensboro motel, guests who were forced from their rooms shared what they experienced and the challenges they’re facing in the aftermath.

The fire broke out at the Motel 6 in Greensboro on Regional Road around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

People said their rooms were impacted by the fire, and some were able to grab their things on Monday morning. Others say they’re still trying to recover their belongings.
