LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An adult man was hospitalized Monday afternoon after suffering what police describe as a mental health crisis outside of the Vitality Senior Living facility.
Officers spoke with the man, who was holding a knife at the time, and detained him safely. He was transported by EMS to University Hospital, where he was admitted involuntarily.
