‘I feel proud’: 2 Horry County students compete in Scripps National Spelling Bee

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two Horry County students proved to be E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T spellers, having made it to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

The eighth graders, from St. James and Socastee middle schools, went to Washington, D.C. to put their skills to the ultimate test.
