A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty Monday to shooting a man after having knocked on a Baton Rouge home’s door asking for $10, then shooting at the man who answered.
Clayton Smith, 22, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder for the front door soliciting-and-shooting, which took place in October 2024 at a residence in the 1600 block of North 35th Street.
