For years Willie Arbuckle dismissed notices for class reunions at his alma mater, Chandler High School. Now, Arbuckle and three others will be a permanent part of the 112-year-old school’s history.
“After graduating from school, they held a class reunion,” Arbuckle said on May 26. “Every single time we had a class reunion they would notify me and invite me to attend. I just ignored it.
“When I finally decided maybe I should go to one of these class reunions while we are surviving to see who still lives, … that was at the age of 65. Imagine 65 years is your first class reunion.”…
