TAMPA — The Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) will implement service changes starting Sunday, June 7.
The changes follow a year-long Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) that reviewed market conditions, ridership patterns, service efficiency, and community needs, along with input from customers and employees.
The HART service changes include:
- Improved weekday frequency on Route 38 (Brandon area) from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes.
- Discontinuation of Route 24LX, Route 25LX, and HARTFlex South County
- Schedule adjustments on Routes 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 30, 33, 37, 38, 45, 46, 48, and 360LX
- Earlier weekday service on Route 360LX, with the first westbound trip departing J.C. Handly Park-n-Ride at 5:15 a.m.
- A new last westbound trip on Route 46 at 9:51 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
- Routing changes for Routes 5 and 12 in Ybor City — northbound trips turning left from Palm Avenue to 22nd Street.
