IRMO, S.C. — The Town of Irmo will hold a workshop Tuesday evening to discuss a proposed change in its form of government, a move town leaders say is intended to align the town’s ordinances with the way it already operates.
Irmo currently operates under a council form of government. According to Robert Wolfe with the Municipal Association of South Carolina, that system gives town council both legislative and administrative authority.
