EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The East Lansing City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to continue the paid leave of City Manager Robert Belleman.
After a nearly hour and a half-long closed session with city attorneys, the council returned to the meeting room and moved to continue Belleman’s leave while the investigation continues. The motion also authorized the city attorney and mayor to take certain actions discussed in the closed session.
What specific actions the two were authorized to take has not been disclosed.
