Michigan fans can’t count down the days fast enough for the start of both football and basketball seasons. For football, it sis hte start of a new era, the Kyle Whittingham era, and if his offseason has shown anything, it is that he has big plans for Michigan football.

For basketball, fans can’t wait to see the new squad head coach Dusty May has put together after winning a National Championship this past season with an entire starting lineup made up of transfers. For once, Michigan fans can be excited for what happens both on the football field and on the basketball court at the same time.

It won’t be a long wait once the football season begins, as Michigan basketball will start its title defense in November, and it could begin with a huge matchup no Wolverines fan will want to miss. After reports of the game being scheduled, it is official that Michigan will face UConn on November 6, in what will be a National Championship rematch against Dan Hurley and the Huskies…
