Since September of 2023, crews have worked to totally replace this entire section of I-20 complete with all the entrance and exit ramps as part of a $128 million project and though the work was originally expected to be completed earlier this year, it would appear we are nearing its end.

As part of the final stages, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has just issued a notice that beginning today, Wednesday, June 3 at 9:00 am, drivers should expect intermittent lane closures on I-20 westbound between the I-220 interchange and LA 782-2 (Industrial Drive) in Bossier City, while workers tackle some concrete repair work.

These intermittent lane closures will continue through the morning of Friday, June 5.

Traffic will be allowed to pass through the area so no detour is necessary for this work…
