U.S. Marshals arrest Clarksville man wanted for murder in Kentucky

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Clarksville man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a November 2025 murder that occurred in Oak Grove, Kentucky.

According to the United States Marshals Service, a Marshals task force in Nashville was working a collateral lead from the USMS in the Western District of Kentucky to take the man into custody.

It was announced in December 2025 that 28-year-old Avery Montell Bates was wanted for murder in connection with the shooting death of Jaylin Glenn, which occurred on Nov. 23, 2025.

That day, Oak Grove police officers responded to a shooting near Ooh La La Lounge. Once on the scene, they found Glenn had suffered a gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to the USMS…
