INDIANAPOLIS — A man is facing multiple charges after several apartments, including a child’s bedroom, were hit by gunfire on the west side of Indianapolis, according to court documents.
Simon Allen, 25, of Indianapolis, faces the following charges:
- Two counts of criminal recklessness, shooting a firearm into an occupied vehicle, inhabited dwelling
- Criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon
According to court documents, police were called to Chadbourne Drive, near 10th Street and Girl School Road, around 2:10 a.m. Friday, May 29.
After officers got to the scene, they eventually found broken glass at the sliding door of an apartment. Court documents say a woman there told police she saw two men in hoodies running east after hearing gunfire.
