Construction for a major urban gardening project aimed at addressing food insecurity in Worcester begins on Wednesday.
The Regional Environmental Council of Worcester, or REC Worcester, will hold a groundbreaking at 4 p.m. to kick off the construction of the Center for Urban Agriculture & Food Security — a location that will help expand REC Worcester and offer new amenities to further its mission of providing food security throughout the city.
