Brief break before round two of showers later

A few showers and storms have fired up in our eastern counties. Currently nothing is severe warned, but some heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts are possible with these cells. Temperatures currently sit in the 70s and 80s.

A few breaks in the clouds are possible over the next few hours, but not much sunshine is expected. Temperatures will continue to maintain in the upper 70s and low 80s. Another wave of energy later this evening will serve as the catalyst for our next round of thunderstorms and heavy rain. Main areas for this activity will be our central and eastern counties.

By tonight, one last round of thunderstorms should work in from the northwest before we get a little bit of a break from rain for the latter half of the work week, although we don’t completely move rain chances out of the forecast!…
