Wallace says he’s ‘not ready’ to leave prison during parole hearing

During the first portion of the hearing, Wallace said he had planned to deny his petition for parole upon entering the proceedings but was advised to continue so he could receive guidance from the board.

“I’m not ready,” Wallace said, citing the need for further personal growth and treatment for his behavior. He told the board he believes it could take more than a year, but fewer than three, before he could safely return to society. (Loren Ruark/SBG)
