More than 2,500 athletes and their supporters are expected in Salem this weekend for a sold-out endurance race projected to generate more than $11.3 million for the regional economy.
IRONMAN 70.3 Oregon activities begin Friday, July 17, at Riverfront Park, with the main competition scheduled for Sunday, July 19. Athlete check-in, race briefings and the IRONMAN Village will bring visitors downtown throughout the weekend.
