2 arrested on federal charges after traffic stop uncovers stolen IDs, credit cards, weapons

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – Federal court records show a convicted felon and a Texas woman have been arrested in Baldwin County. Investigators say a traffic stop uncovered suspected mail theft, stolen IDs and credit cards, and weapons.

According to federal documents filed this week, on May 26, a Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputy saw a BMW with a Texas license plate following another vehicle too close and too fast.

Court documents say after pulling over the driver, the deputy saw 27-year-old Marco Antonio Tavarez in the driver seat, 23-year-old Jalyssa Nadine Delgado in the passenger seat, and a meth pipe in plain view…
