How the Sudden Impact Program Helps Teen Drivers
Now, there is a one-day “Sudden Impact” event for your teen who is starting to drive. It will allow your teenager the opportunity to see firsthand what goes on in a trauma unit, how the Louisiana State Police interacts when going to a crash site, and they will hear from trauma survivors.
This one-day event is free for your teen. There are two opportunities for them to attend. They can attend either Thursday, June 11, or Monday, July 13. It even involves lunch being prepared for your teenager by the RescYOU Group.
Sudden Impact Offers Information about What Happens in a Real Trauma Unit
It’s an opportunity for young drivers to see firsthand the devastation that is caused when people allow something to distract them while driving or if they make the wrong decision to drive while impaired.
Another issue to be highlighted is why everyone in a vehicle must be buckled up…
