PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County drivers are in for a grueling week on the road as the Florida Department of Transportation prepares to roll out an extensive list of lane closures from June 7 through June 13. Major thoroughfares, including Interstate 275 and US 19, will face heavy disruptions, with some construction zones shutting down lanes around the clock.
Nightly commuters using the Sunshine Skyway Bridge should prepare for delays. FDOT has scheduled night lane closures on I-275 starting Sunday, June 7, running through Saturday, June 13. The restrictions will be in place every night from 8 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning.
