‘Air Quality Alert’ issued for Louisville on Thursday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An “Air Quality Alert” was issued in Louisville for Thursday, June 4th.

The air quality forecast is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups due to ozone pollution, according to the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District.

Sensitive groups to ozone pollution include children, older adults, those with asthma, COPD and other breathing ailments and any other residents that are active outdoors.
