FOX ISLAND, Wash. — The man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the death his girlfriend at a Fox Island home in April of last year was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison on Thursday.
When he’s released, Lars Nelson will remain in community custody for another 36 months.
Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 800 block of Fox Drive just after 6:30 a.m. on April 20, 2025, for a death investigation.
