Elwood Jones pleads guilty to traffic charges, OVI charge dismissed

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Elwood Jones, whose murder conviction was dismissed late last year after spending decades on Ohio’s death row, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges stemming from a Christmas Eve crash in Cincinnati.

The OVI charge against Jones was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Jones pleaded guilty to failing to stop after an accident and failure to maintain reasonable control of a vehicle.
