Dayton Metro Library Board fires executive director, names interim leader

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Metro Library Board has just announced it has “immediately” released Executive Director Jeffrey Trzeciak from his position this Thursday.

In a special meeting, the Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees unanimously voted for the change.

“The Board of Trustees will begin the process of determining next steps for the leadership transition. In the meantime, Dayton Metro Library remains focused on serving patrons, supporting staff, and continuing the work underway across the library system,” wrote the DML.
