Shafter man on probation arrested for alleged possession of firearm

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man on felony probation was arrested after officers found a firearm in his Shafter home during a search Tuesday, according to the Kern County Probation Department.

Officers assigned to the department’s Adult Supervision Services Division conducted a home call in the 400 block of East Ash Avenue in Shafter, according to officials.

They contacted a man on felony probation with search terms.
