On June 5, 2026, LPSO received information from Academy officials that three females had targeted stores in other jurisdictions. Information suggested the trio planned a stop at Juban Crossing.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, “The three females did not disappoint. They did indeed target our Academy. They quickly met members of our LPSO Uniform Patrol. The three were in possession of stolen items from several stores – including our Academy. Our LPSO Burglary team is processing the stolen items while the trio – all from Mobile, Alabama – is being processed into our Livingston Parish Detention Center. Zero Tolerance, people.
