SEATTLE — A residential neighborhood near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport could see significant zoning changes in the coming months as Burien moves forward with plans for a future employment district.
The proposal affects Cedarhurst, specifically an area generally bounded by South 128th Street to the north, South 138th Street to the south and Des Moines Memorial Drive South to the east. The neighborhood is currently zoned for single-family homes.
