Shark seen swimming near Electric Beach

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) — Lifeguards have advised against swimming at Kahe Point (Electric Beach) after a non-aggressive shark was seen in the waters on Saturday afternoon.

The shark was confirmed by Honolulu Ocean Safety lifeguards to be seen at the flumes of the power plant at Kahe Point on West Oahu on Saturday, June 6, leading to alert at 1:10 p.m. for a six to seven-foot long shark.
