Driver pulled from upside-down vehicle partially submerged in Cincinnati creek

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A driver had to be rescued by a crew of emergency responders after a crash left their vehicle flipped upside down and partially submerged in Cincinnati.

According to a release from the Cincinnati Fire Department, authorities received a call regarding an overturned vehicle in Mill Creek at 8:23 a.m. on June 7. The vehicle reportedly drove off a dead end at the end of Queen City Avenue and fell into the creek.

Emergency responders had to use ropes to descend down to the car, per the release.

“There was one occupant in the vehicle, conscious and able to speak with firefighters,” the release read. “Firefighters extricated the occupant, and used specialized rescue equipment to secure him and pull him up the very steep grade.”…
