Alpharetta, Georgia – Alpharetta is preparing to turn Independence Day weekend into a two-night community celebration, giving residents and visitors more than one way to gather, relax, and look to the sky.
This year’s festivities will carry extra meaning as the city joins the nation in honoring America’s 250th anniversary. The weekend will include live music, a patriotic drone show, family time at the park, and Alpharetta’s annual fireworks display.
The celebration begins Friday, July 3, at Town Green at Alpharetta City Center, located at 2 Park Plaza. The evening will open with a concert by Party on the Moon, one of the Southeast’s premier party bands.
