PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after the rider, according to police, bypassed traffic control barricades on Atwells Avenue and subesquently lost control of the vehicle.
The incident happened shortly before midnight on Saturday in the area of 222 Atwells Avenue, where al fresco dining had been going on during Federal Hill’s annual celebration of the Festa di San Giuseppe, or the St. Joseph’s Day Feast.
