AUSTINTOWN — A Stark County Police sergeant is facing several charges after police say he was driving under the influence with weapons before running from officers near a gas station in Austintown on Sunday.
Sergeant Ethan Griffith with the Alliance Police Department was arrested early Sunday morning after police responded to a traffic accident involving a truck crashing into a utility pole at the intersection of Kirk Road and South Canfield-Niles Road (Route 46), according to a report from the Austintown Police Department.
