BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — Birmingham residents seeking public housing will have a limited window later this month to apply for available units, as the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District plans to open waiting lists for several communities.
The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District said the upcoming waiting list opening applies only to one- and two-bedroom units. Applications will be accepted from Monday, June 22, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m. through Friday, June 26, 2026, at 4 p.m.
