HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Harrisburg reopened another park over the weekend.
Wilson Park, on Rumson Drive, underwent renovations to upgrade lighting, make ADA accessibility improvements, add a new picnic pavilion and upgrade play equipment.

The improvements were a part of a $13 million grant the city received in 2023 to upgrade the park, along with Reservoir Park, Gorgas Playground and 7th and Radnor Sports Park. It was the first time the city had enough money to upgrade multiple parks after defaulting on its debt more than a decade ago.
