Man wounded in Hampton road rage shooting Friday, police say

A man was injured in a shooting Friday evening following what Hampton police say began as a road rage incident.

According to the Hampton Police Division, officers responded to the 700 block of North King Street around 5:03 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the injuries were not considered life-threatening. The victim was taken to a local hospital by Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue personnel for treatment…
