Woman accused of hitting people with her vehicle while intoxicated in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A woman is accused of hitting people with her vehicle while intoxicated in west Lincoln on Monday.

According to Lincoln Police, officers were called at 12:10 a.m. to the F and South 13th streets on the report of several people who had been run over by a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they saw several people screaming and yelling and saw a vehicle performing a U-Turn at the street’s intersection. The vehicle had heavy front-end damage, a shattered windshield, and was dragging a street sign.

Court documents show that officers gave orders to the sole occupant and driver, 50-year-old Felisia Johnson, to stop the vehicle. Johnson reportedly sped off southbound before she entered a lot where various people were in. Officers chased after the vehicle and continued to tell Johnson to stop and exit the vehicle, which she eventually did…
