Division III standouts reach podium at OHSAA state track meet

COLUMBUS — Otsego junior Molly Kramer had a feeling things were going to go well for her as soon as she began competing Saturday night at the Division III state girls track and field meet.

Despite having the meet get postponed twice and her race starting more than four hours after it originally was scheduled, Kramer kept her focus from the beginning of the 100-meter hurdles race through what would be a tightly contested battle to its completion.

By running 14.29 seconds, she edged Warrensville Heights’ Kamara Steward by one-hundredth of a second to capture the state championship under the lights inside Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium…
