Pregnant Springfield High School student paralyzed in shooting during robbery

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Springfield High School student is paralyzed after being shot during a robbery Saturday. Her mother says the teen is six months pregnant and may never be able to care for her unborn child.

According to a police report, 18-year-old Angel and her boyfriend drove to 2550 Greenway Avenue to meet someone they connected with on Snapchat.

When they arrived, a man dressed in all black approached the car and held a gun to the boyfriend’s head, demanding money, according to the report. When the boyfriend tried to wrestle the gun away, the man pulled the trigger…
