BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — KCSO homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death after a man’s body was found at the scene of a vehicle fire near Oswell and Oregon streets in Bakersfield.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on June 8, 2026, at around 9:30 p.m., homicide detectives were called out to the scene of a vehicle fire in the area of Oswell Street and Oregon Street for a report of a body of a man found at the scene.
