NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — One person is dead after a shooting and crash near Dorchester Road on Tuesday morning, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
According to investigators, the incident took place around 12:55 a.m. when officers responded to the Avian Place Apartments following reports of gunshots in the area. Shortly after, law enforcement received an iPhone crash alert around 5131 Dorchester Road, where they found the car had slammed into the building and the driver was suffering from gunshot wounds.
