LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two Lincoln men have been arrested and charged after an investigation into Lincoln smoke shops found a store had been allegedly selling illegal mushroom products.
The two former employees of Cloud 9 Smoke Shop, 44-year-old Mirzah Meskin and 38-year-old Khalil Meskin, are charged with distributing a controlled substance. Mirzah’s bond was set at 10% of $2,500, while Khalil’s bond was set at 10% of $5,000.
According to court documents, on May 8, 2025, Lancaster County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a belated overdose that occurred a week earlier on May 1.
