Bond set at $250k for suspect in shooting on Madison’s north side

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A $250,000 bond was set for the Madison man accused of shooting someone over the weekend.

Sirspurgeon Temple is accused of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in connection to the shooting that happened around 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the area of Independence Lane and Dwight Drive.

A Dane County prosecutor requested $1 million cash bail, saying high bail is necessary for the protection of the public. The defense attorney requested a $250,000 bond, saying $1 million is too high for the defendant…
