BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Public Works announced a bulky waste collection event in Wofford Heights this month, during which residents can drop off their large household waste for free.
The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27, at Wofford Heights Park at 316 East Evans Rd.
It is being held in partnership with the Farmworkers Institute of Education & Leadership Development and Thomas Refuse, according to officials.
