WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating a deadly crash after a pedestrian was killed shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
At 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, officers came to the area of US 52 North under the Liberty Street bridge after getting a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
At the scene, police found the pedestrian dead in the roadway as a result of injuries they sustained in the crash. The driver of the car that struck the pedestrian was not injured…
