Debris from passing vehicle strikes, injures school bus driver in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police said a school bus driver was injured after debris from a passing vehicle struck the driver on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident occurred in the area of Laurel Hill Avenue and Plainfield Street.

The driver was evaluated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, officials said.

Providence police said 11 students were on board at the time, and none of them were injured…
