1 Happy Girl Closing Its Lemont Location
On June 7, 1 Happy Girl announced its closure through a social media post. The brand is closing its Lemont store at 314 Canal St. The boutique has served shoppers in downtown Lemont for the past 18 years.
In the closure announcement, the owner highlighted the efforts behind the location. She said, “For more than a decade, I was here seven days a week, pouring my heart into this store, building relationships, celebrating milestones, and creating something that became so much more than just a business.”
The owner described the closure as a difficult decision. Rising operating costs and prolonged street closures reduced accessibility and customer traffic to the store. The company plans to consolidate inventory and operations at its New Lenox store moving forward…
