Larry Henderson’s widow pushes for mandatory sentences for those who kill law enforcement

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) – The widow of a local deputy pushes Ohio lawmakers for stricter penalties for those convicted of killing law enforcement officers.

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony on Senate Bill 372 known as the Larry Henderson Act.

It is named for retired Hamilton County Deputy Larry Henderson who was run over while directing traffic outside of UC’s graduation in May of last year…
