MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Licari’s Bar & Grill in Madison has taken the title of Madison Burger Week champion for the third year in a row, officials with the Wisconsin Beef Council said Wednesday.
Licari’s, located at 1405 Emil Street, is the first restaurant in MBW history to win three years in a row.
The title was awarded for The 65’er burger, taking down runners-up Union Smash Burger from Union Corners Tavern and the Double Hank Burger from Hank’s Burger & Fish Fry.
“We work very hard, and we are so grateful for everybody that comes in here to support us every single day,” Sarah Nelson of Licari’s Bar & Grill said. “We couldn’t do any of this without everybody who comes in, especially after being in this location for the last 65 years.”…
